The products that we sell are manufactured by small companies in limited batches. Many products are also highly customisable for particular customer requirements. Therefore, we order items from our suppliers individually for every customer purchase. We have up to a dozen demo units in our Edinburgh store, but these are generally not for sale. When you purchase a product from us, we source it directly from the manufacturer. This cuts out the middlemen and reduces our costs, which means that we can offer you the most competitive prices.
Owing to the specialised nature of our products and the tailoring of certain orders, all purchases must normally be paid for up front. Lead times on your purchase may vary between a few days and 4 weeks. We may also take pre-orders on certain products that may not be currently unavailable, but with a maximum lead time of 12-14 weeks.
For online purchases, all items must be paid for at the time of ordering.
Please note that, due to their highly bespoke nature, Trekinetic products cannot be purchased online.

Although we believe you’ll be delighted with your new product, you have a bunch of consumer rights enshrined in law for if you change your mind. These are the main ones you need to be aware of:
If you’re buying online or over the phone, you can cancel within 14 days of making your order and we’ll give you a full refund, but only if you return the product in a re-saleable condition, with its original packaging, within 30 days of the cancellation date. The item must be returned at your own cost.
If you buy in-store, you can return an item within 30 days of the purchase date, and again, we’ll give you a full refund. However, the product must be returned in a re-saleable condition, in its original packaging with your receipt as proof of purchase.
The law gives you 14 days, but we extend that to 30 because we're pretty sure you'll be very happy with your new purchase.
We regret that we cannot offer a refund on any item that cannot be re-sold as new (including scuffs, scrapes and more than casual wear to the brakes), and/or has been damaged through use and not covered by warranty.
In line with UK legislation, we cannot accept returns on bespoke items, specifically Trekinetic and Carbon Black wheelchair, unless this is for warranty reasons.
Warranty cases will either be repaired, or if the unit is not repairable, replaced at no charge. We cannot offer refunds relating to warranty issues (please refer to our Warranty and After Sales Support page for more information).
